I have an AMD Athlon 2.1GHz machine. Does this take DDR1 or DDR2 and how big does RAM memory come for these?

Thank you.

Hi InfadaStone, welcome to the PCHF.

Can you please post what model AMD you have? 2100+ 2800+ 4600+, etc etc

AMD use these naming convenestions instead of "2.1ghz" or, "1.8ghz"
a 2100+ doesn't mean 2.1ghz.

I believe the 2800 used 333DDR which is DDR PC2700.

I recommend looking at OCZ personally, their value stuff is awesome and the platinum is amazing, reasonably priced and a lifetime warranty, you may have some problems finding PC2700 though.

Here is a good web site for you to look at. Run the scanner on your computer and it will tell you what is compatible with your pc.
Of corse, you don't have to buy their overpriced stuff. Memory upgrades, graphics cards, flash media, and usb storage at Crucial.com

Thanks guys

DDR333 is what you're after (as Lebowski has said)
And tractordrive is also correct
