well, yes. If it's listed as being able to carry 305, and you are pumping 310 through it, something is going to give sooner or later. PSU's are pretty cheap for desktops; I'd recommend hitting a mom and pop shop somewhere and buying one for your machine that is cleared to 310 or so.

Make sure if you are buying a PSU to get a good one, if you get a bad no-name make kind of one then it is a lot more likely to fail. get one from a reputable brand.
