Hi Rash219,

Welcome to The site,

I've had a look around and the memory you have specified does look like it will be ok for the system. As to faster I can't find anywhere that says that you can use faster memory for your system. As to the capacity, the most the system will handle is 1gb.
Let us know if this helps

Nope, not according to Toshiba: Satellite L10-102 - unfortunately I can't find the list of changes for the bios updates, maybe greater RAM capacity has been added to a later bios update...

The proces of FLASHING (updating) bios is very "FRAGILE". Be v carefull if u want to do this, if you don't have dual bios u can crash ure mobo for good. Search for the make&brand of your mobo on the net, download the users manual, and u will find there what kind of bios ure mobo has. After that visit the manufacturers website, and search there for bios updates/flashed, u shall find there instructions to. DO NOT download bios updates from sites other than the official website of the MANUFACTURER !

Hey Guys,

@Crab - Please keep webspeak to a minimum, especially when giving advice, it can lead to misinterpretations, and problems,

@Rash - Please download and run Belarc from my signature, post back with the BIOS information and we will see if there is a RAM specific BIOS update for your laptop.

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN
