I have an add-on that allows me to click on an icon next to a process in task manager and it will send me to a processlibrary.com that tells me what it is. I just don't want to kill my computer...

Well to determine start-up processes that list isn't the best, could you get me a screenshot of this window please:

1. Goto Start
2. Run and type in 'msconfig' (without the quotes)
3. Click on the startup tab
4. Take a screenshot of all the processes in there.

Chris

LOL im off for a while now, i will look in a bit

These should be OK to remove if you do not need them:
  • dlccmon - Dell Device Monitor - if you do not need it.
  • ogi_mwx.exe - is a process which is associated with Logitech MouseWare. It loads software for non-standard mouse buttons and should be left alone whilst these non-standard buttons are used. So if you dont use the non-standard buttons you can disable it.
  • isuspm - Installshield Automatic Updater - The process automatically checks for the latest updates online. By removing this process you will not get informed about the latest updates for InstallShield.
  • Apdproxy - photoshop album - not required to run on startup
  • DVDLauncher - cyberlink cinema software - not needed it simply plays the dvd on insertion.
  • IMJPMIG.EXE - not required unless you use asian characters in ms office
  • ituneshelper - non-essential
  • itype - is a process belonging to Microsoft Intellitype Pro keyboard software. Disabling or enabling it is down to user preference.
  • lbtwiz - logitech bluetooth services - if you dont use this then it is safe to disable.
  • ico - installed alongside drivers for particular mouse brands. Offers extra functionality and configurations. This is a non-essential process. Disabling or enabling it is down to user preference.
  • qttask - system tray for quicktime player not required.
  • adobe reader speed launch can also be disabled.
Wow that took some time lol Hope it helps,

Chris
