i thought it was only 2gig max for xp im prety sure it is

talking about ram is there any type of adaptor you can get so instead of only two slots i could have more i saw something about 8gb ages ago but forgot about it so is there an adaptor for the ram slots ?

Well i have never heard of one and i think it is highly unlikely. A member of the tech team or another member maybe able to help but i doubt it.

actually, we have gotten some machines to go to 4 gig rambus, but that was through a daughterboard setup. Also, those guys are throwing around 20 gig seismic mapping files like volleyballs, so they sort of need it.

It was fun setting it up, I can say that. emphasis on fun, NOT cheap......
