hello
i recently purchased the corsair matched pair ofTWINX2048-3200C2PT ram, my motherboard sets the memory timings to 3-3-3-8 by defualt i would like to no how i could set it to 2-3-3-6 to increase the performance as stated by corsair. my motherboard is ASUS A8N SLI-SE.
i would appriciate any help with this

Hi kibz,

If you boot into your BIOS (pushing DEL when it first turns on)

In here is where you can change your timings.

I've got the same board, but don't have time to restart my computer to find out for you unfortunately. I believe it's oddly under "Hardware Monitor"
But it is definately in there. If you have trouble finding it, let me know and i'll post back when i have a spare minute to reboot.

Its ok i found the memory settings it was under cpu configuration and ive changed the timings my pc has booted up alr8 so should be fine its ok to close the thread thanks for your help
