Hi stid. Sorry about the delay in getting back to you.

If your BIOS shows 1gb, then reinstalling windows will not fix the problem and most likely only flashing the BIOS will (if at all).

If it's showing up in the BIOS, and showing a different amount in Windows, the problem will either be a setting in your BIOS (not sure where) or a problem with your windows install which a reinstall should fix.
