Default PC Building

Hey all, the main question I want to ask is about ram so i decided to post here but i have other questions I wanted to ask so i might aswell ask here instead of making several posts...
You see I am bulding my own PC. Putting it together wont be a problem but i wanted some help choosing what to put in it and wether the stuff I have is compatible. Here is a list:
Motherboard Asus A8R 32-MVP Deluxe SKT939 RD580 Crossfire ATX
(Requires DDR SDRAM, CPU socket 939 i.e. Athlon 64)
£125

CPU
AMD (Venice) Athlon 64 3200+
Socket 939
+ Akasa (AK-900S) cooling fan
£107

Case
I-Cute ATX Gaming Case with 300w power supply
£40

Hard-Drive
Western Digital Caviar WD2500KS
250GB storage (connector 22-position serial ATA plug)
£55

CD-DVD Drive
LG Internal Black
£20

All I have chosen is from ebuyer and I would like to keep it that way but could someone suggest what ram I should buy? I want to spend around £60 on ram which I guess will get me 512 since I can upgrade further later but not sure what type to get... could someone look on ebuyer and suggest one?
Also could someone look at the other things i have bought and tell me if there are better things for a similar price and wether any of it will be incompatible. i am sure the motherboard and cpu are compatible but thats it. I know I am asking a lot but it would realy help, a friend is gonna help build it i just need to get the stuff ready and want to get the most from my money... Oh, and did i miss anything important except the graphics card, I am gonna run off onboard graphics till i get the money together for a really powerful graphics card...

http://www.crucial.com/

use their RAM tool-- easy/fast/accurate

your board can actually run 2 PCI express video cards-- but to do that you'll need about 200 Watts more power-supply. If you can I would actually suggest oredering your case without a PSU and buy one separately. 500 W for this type of rig is the minimum I would buy. You'll get much better quality-- most built-in PSU's are junk. For gaming a rock-solid PSU is critical.

I've had a Seasonic for about 3 years now... there are others, of course. If you don't intend to upgrade the graphics right away... you could get away with that stock PSU-- but if you're serious about this...

I might even consider 600-- just in case. Your call.

EDIT: Ok i chose the new powersupply, just decided to change the whole case since i saw one with a 500w supply, but it says there is no power cord, can i use the one in my old pc?
And about the Ram, I allready know it is DDR SDRam i need i just don't know what the best deal is on ebuyer, plus I couldnt find my mothrboard on the link anyway

If you use the config tool on Crucial's site-- you could write down your fastest ( I would get the most you can afford-- of the fastest speed) RAM chip specs-- and search for that type in your Ebuyer site.

Power cords are standard items--- you can use your old one or buy new at almost any office-supply store --or whatever you use for such items in the UK. Of course --you use 220v over there?? so yours may be different slightly-- I don't know for sure. Must be SOME power-supply units... stepping 220 AC all the way down to 12vdc to run your motherboard. :o

Make absolute sure you're getting enough power to this system. And with Crossfire / SLi, it's still baby technology with heaps and heaps of bugs. If you're planning on buying 2 cards, think about waiting until DirectX 10 cards come out, which will be within 6 months. That's my 2 cents anyway.

With your memory, stick with the brand name modules to make sure you get higher speeds, or better stability.

Crucial, Corsair, GeLL, Kingston, G.Skill, OCZ to name a few.
