Hi there, Im having a problem with my motherboard gigagbyte GA-7VRX rev 1.1 recognizing my 3gb of pc2100 (266mhz) memory sticks @1gb a stick. and of course xp doesnt see it all either. POST is showing half of what I installed. Now in my manual it shows something to the order of it only supporting certain sticks like 16m X 8 X 4 for example. I have no idea what this is but could this be the problem? I know it supports pc2100 and 333mhz so that is fine. why would it limit my memory to 1.5GB? (also when I take one stick out(1gb)it then shows up as 1 gb) again half of whats installed. could this be normal?? just curious. thankyou.

Do you know what's the max amount of memory to your mainboard?
Also, are all the sticks at same speed (you kind of mentioned that already)?
