Default I Need To Know What Memory is Compatible

I want to upgrade the memory on my Desktop PC. Here are the specs or whatever for my motherboard:

Memory Bus Properties:
Bus Type SDR SDRAM
Bus Width 64-bit
Real Clock 100 MHz
Effective Clock 100 MHz
Bandwidth 800 MB/s

There are 2 DIMM slots available. Now, most RAM now is "DDR SDRAM"...so will my PC take that? Also, is there a limit as to how much RAM I can add? Can I add a 1GB Stick to it??? I need to know which RAM I can buy, lol. Thanks

Howdy there TheOiyZaS and welcome to the forums.

Would you be able to run one of the programs from the following post and post the results onto the forum for us:
http://www.pchelpforum.com/your-pc-detailed-info-here/

Basically all I want is the make/model of your motherboard so you can just copy that section and post it onto the forum (unless you know it already!)

Once we have your motherboard model we can inform you exactly what RAM you can and can't have.

Thanks for that information, right I have the answers for you.

No, your machine will only take SDRAM unfortunately.

is there a limit as to how much RAM I can add?
Can I add a 1GB Stick to it
Your system can take a maximum of 1GB RAM, so if you can find a 1GB SDRAM stick then yes it should work fine.

Just so you know your system supports a fsb of PC - 66/100/133 and voltage of 3.3v so when you buy your ram make sure it doesn't have a speed greater than 133.

Most RAM is SDRAM, however it's usually DDR SDRAM. So you are saying my PC won't take DDR SDRAM, only SDR SDRAM?

Crucial has an automatic "Configurator" for those unfamiliar with the tech-specs. Their RAM is of great quality and they guarantee it will be correct for your system.

That is one of the best links ive seen ... I was just about to get a new Dell thinking that I could just switch over my old 2 sticks of 512 , wow , that would have sucked....
