Hello there and welcome to pchelpforum.

  • Was this a brand new stick of RAM?
It sounds to me like you could possibly have a faulty memory stick.

You can use one of these apps to test the ram:

hello nagesh,

what else does it ask? most of the time when a blue screen occurs the phyiscal memory is dumped. this doesnt always mean a memory problem. if you're playing games when this happens there is a good chance its a video card problem. prolly related to heat. tell me some of the files are having problems. grab a pen next time it comes up.

thanks!

  • If you stick your old memory back in the machine do the games work properly (without freezing)?

Did you run the same test 4 times or are they different tests.
If they are different then what is the name of the 3rd test that crashes?
  • Does your computer freeze whilst in windows or only when you play games?
