actually i contected the manufacture of the ram and I guess it dosnt work with my computer cause the motherboard cannot support it. Is their a way that I could make it work though without having to downgrade the ram to 256?
If it isn't compatible then there is nothing you can do but to exchange it for the correct RAM - even if you did (by some miracle) get it working, it would perform badly and would ultimately be a bad thing for your PC. Go with the right RAM.
