Question [Answered] Worth getting more RAM?

Is it worth me getting some more RAM? My pc is built out of old bits of stuff that were laying around the house and is very temperamental and VERY slow.

Youre pc would benefit from adding atleast another 256mb for sure. And going to 1gb would also not be a waste of money.

How will I find out what sort to get? I can turn it off and take the other RAM out and write down the info I suppose, but I have had booting problems for ages and am scared to turn it off. (Suppose I will have to risk it sooner or later as I will have to turn it off to install the RAM anyway.)

Thanks for that. Here is my scan result. Does that mean the one they suggest can be used with the RAM that I already have in?

PS, you dont have to buy it from them ofcourse , you can also take the info and buy elswhere.
