:-) Hi Joe,

That PreWork log is the standard prework instructions that are posted in both the HijackThiis Logs area and the AntiSpyware area on how to check for malware. It has no reference to someone else's HJT log, links the user to CCleaner and ewido. I wanted him to do everything up to running HJT so that we could look at his ewido log. I am still confused as to your objection, can you be more specific? Thanks

Not really , but now ive changed the clickable "here" you posted and put the url you linked to beneath it.
Again , im not talking about the "prework" link in youre sig.

reread youre posts in this topic and youll see.

OK, here we go.

First, I'd like you to uninstall Logitech Desktop Messenger, you don't really need it and I have my suspicions about some of your other problems, (if you want it back you can always reinstall it)

Next I want you to follow all of the instructions up to the HijackThis part here

http://www.pchelpforum.com/index.php...c=2298.new#new

Post your ewido log back here. I'll check it out and tell you what to answer fix to.

Look forward to your reply,

Also see the question Mccheeze is asking , thats not part of any "prework" and he should not be doing that.

Joe, I am terribly sorry, also to you McCheese, Joe is absolutely correct, I directed you to the wrong link. The prework that we need you to do as well as the ewido link is currently listed in my signature. I must have been preoccupied when I directed you to that other link.

I most aggrievedly apologize for directing you to the wrong location. Please accept my apologies. The information needed to help you McCheese is still in the log from ewido as well as a subsequent HJT log, Please follow the directions from the prework link in my signature and post the ewido log as directed.

Thanks,

T
