click on the blue "here" in my previous message, there are some things I need you to do, that link will give you all of the instructions. Post the log back here, and one of us will look it over.

Make sure you follow the instructions exactly, OK? Listen it's gettin kind of late here, I will check on your progress in the am.

You'll be cool, the instructions are way easy.

Then click Start>Run and type in: services.msc
Click OK
In the Services window find:

System Startup Service
i cant find this in the services window

i get System Event Notification and System restore, those are the only ones labeled 'system' whatever

I am confused, the PreWork link is correct, it directs him to clean up his system and run ewido, posting the info back here? What is the problem with that? It is the link different for you?

Im not talking about the prework link in youre sig , im talking about the link you posted (above) .
He is following the instructions for someone else's HJT log and is now trying to disable services.
