Someone please help me. I have a new motherboard, cpu, and hard drive that I just put together. I tried installing my Xp on it but got error messages. I hooked the hard drive up to my other computer and installed XP without any error messages. After getting XP installed I hooked the hard drive back up in my new computer. Then tried to install AOL. It also wouldn't install. I got an error message saying there was a compatibility issue. But yet I can hook to the internet thru Explorer. I've ran Memtest86 and get no errors. Could it be some settings I need to change in the BIOS for the motherboard or CPU? Maybe jumper settings? I haven't a clue of where to start. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

you can try reseting the CMOS, take out the battery for 30 seconds and put it back in.. When you load XP onto one computer and onto another the old motherboard drivers are on that hard drive
