Hey Guys and Gals,
This thread was left unfinished. There are still several questions and suggestions left for Felix.
First he should have been asked about the make/model of his PC, and had the maximum amount of
RAM determined.
Next he should have been asked about whether or not this was a new issue that had come up suddenly, or if it was something that had gotten worse over time.
Felix should have been asked to run a memory testing program such as Memtest, to determine if there were problems with the
RAM already in his PC.
Finally, he should have been asked to check for malware using PreWork in order to determinie whether or not virus or spyware could be to blame.
If you are having problems similar to Felix's please try all of the suggestions listed in this thread. If you continue to to have difficulties, please start your own thread in the Memory Forum, be sure to include your make and model PC, or motherboard, the amount of
RAM you currently have, and please feel free to reference this thread if you don't want to have to type all of the things you have already tried.
Looking forward to seeing you in the fourms.
