Hello there,
Hope you can help me. I have quite an old pc. It had two 64MB sticks of PC100 sdram, so i decided to add in another 128MB. I bought one and slotted it in so that it was in the first slot and the other two were in the second and third.
Now problems occur. Firstly it only registers 192MB of
ram and also when running it crashed a ridiculous number of times. I took the 128MB stick out, had a look at it and found that although the label said PC100 the actual chips had "16M16
PC133 128MB" printed on them. Would that explain anything?
The motherboard is a Biostar M6TZA and i am running WIN98SE
