Alright mate?
Right looking at this picture of it and the key holes cut out of it i'm not sure any other Ram would fit in the slots, thos guidance holes look different to other sticks of ram.? Your Ram is 16 bit as well which might make a difference as well.? You could try some other sticks but some filing of the guidance holes may be needed!

Oh ya, they are RIMMS as well, happy hunting! Hope u didn't say this was an easy job for a friend!

Intel originally introduced Rambus DRAM back in the days of the Pentium 3, the purpose of this was to try and saturate the market with RDRAM by the time the Pentium 4 was released. It was a good idea, however users who did shell out the money for the RDRAM (which at the time was about 5x more expensive then regular SDRAM) found performance with a Pentium 3 rather disappointing. Often times a Pentium 3 with PC800 RDRAM would perform worse the same processor teamed up with good ole PC133 SDRAM! The situation was unacceptable to the hardware community and consumers in general, and Intel, felt the backlash almost immediately.
Here is a reasonably priced supplier for you (as you are in the UK).

RDRAM for sale UK

Just had a look on the Dell site, check out this PDF - Page 61 (or see attached pic):

http://support.jp.dell.com/docs/syst...t/65jdga04.pdf

It says that the system has 4 RIMM sockets which only support RDRAM.

Check out the site Hengis recommended.

also note when upgrading or adding rambus ram dimms:

you have to install them in pairs - example - u cant have just 1 dimm, you need 2 dimms of equal size in the correct corresponding slots..

and if the other slots are empty, iv heard sometimes you need to fill them with something i forget what its called, a Continuity stick or something. but i dont think every bourd needs that.
