I'd like an O/S that's integrated with the web as well and goes off and installs any new hardware automagically if you wanted it to.

Also i want to get rid of all that gui rubbish and go back to tui's! they were the best....

What's a tui when its at home and how can something be automatic if it requires you accept or reject the hardware?

i meant accept the ability for it to auto install the hardware, so u can turn it on or off...

a tui = text user interface

command lines need to come back!

First point understood, second not. What use is a command line interface? What value does it have?

Stability & performance Open-VMS
The Filesystem of Novell,
The CLI managability of Linux,
The GUI of Microsoft

And completely open source so you can customize everything....

I have it..... Window's XP :-).. As the old sayijng goes if it aint broke don't fix it.. But dabble with SuSe Linux
But with all OS's if you dont use it wisely it will make you want to throw the case out the window..
