Default [Answered] VMWare

Anyone had a play with it? I've currently go Windows 98SE, Windows 2000 and XP running on the same machine at the same time! Create OS installations is second, copy them. I even have a W2K server running in one VM and the XP VM is browsing a website I'm running on the server, so cool.

Its excellent for developing or playing with web development software or multiple OS.

At the moment I am running VMWare on top of XP which means I am running XP then WMWare then all the other OS's. It can get a bit slow.

I am waiting for VMWare to release they 64Bit version of the product (I run an AMD 64 3200+ ), then I will run VMWare with all the OS's on top of that. Bring it on VMWare.

I'd be interested to hear other peoples experiences.

Si

I suppose VMWare is a bit like MS Virtual Machine ?? If it is then I got the chance to play with it earlier on this year...looks good and sure saves the need for fiddly dual booting !!
