Solved: Anyone every heard of EZ phone bill

Apparently I got charged for something that I didn't do. Some how someone used EZ phone bill to charge my phone line with this purchase.

Sorry I'm just warning you all watch what you click. For this to happen they don't ask for you SSN or any information about you for this service to be used and charged to your account.

I just need to let off some steam and at the same time inform you all about this.

I prefer to use a credit or debit card online, so have no need to use a service like EZ Phone Bill.

There's a lot of identiy theft about, so you need to tighten up your security...

All someone needs is your phone number and they can charge you with this service. How do you keep that in tight security?

My phone number which is for my pstn / broadband service is not in the phone book, and is basically a silent number, I also use VoiP which is also ex directory so I have excellent security on these.

I also have my phone caller ID blocked when I phone anyone, as it's marked as Private on phones that are capable of showing that.

Did you know that the word gullible is not in the major dictionaries...
