Hi all ,
Recently in the school holidays I developed an obsession with star trek ,
I went out an bought the Whole dvd series (1-7) and watched them , they were brilliant!
However after watching all the star trek TNG movies and Nemesis I feel kinda sad,

In star trek nemesis Data sacrifices his life for the enterprise and on inspection on the credits I saw the story was co-written.
Did Brent want to intentionally destroy his character ?

Will the crew of the enterprise E ever return?
Will Cap'n Kirk be the focus of star trek from now on?

Who knows,Shatner,tried to do it,Nimoy tried to do it also. The Generations crew couldn't believe it when they stopped the tv show for a movie. Also Rodenberry's wife just wanted it to stop 2 years ago,but her son had other idea's,and it was good! Just my little tidbit here.....

I have actually watched alot of star trek and im not even in my 20's yet, a sky 1 re run. Like channel Dave
 Startrek, suffers same fate as Stargate i believe, it ll comes down to money! In the end a movie would generate the more money. Gotta say the startrek movie recently released, was a disappointment, some of it was good over parts i was falling asleep. I watch some **** films and like them but was really disappointed

hi guys,as you can tell by my avater pic i am a great star trek fan,especially worf,i absolutely loved him,but i have heard a lot of people talking about the new pic out ,not good comments,so i prefer not to watch it in case it spoils my love of the original cast,i don`t think they could ever replace shatner as captain,he did a marvellous job,without him i think it would not be worth watching

The new trek movie was fine for me,a true die hard (at least it was anew movie). So true about Shatner though
