Well, at the request of sir trews... I will post these videos on here.. Cold start, rev, and exhaust sound of our 2003 Ford expedition, and cold start/rev of our 99 Jeep Wrangler.

Ok.. how many of you know and/or hear what drag bikes are about...

Listen carefully... the one on right lane.. sounds kinda like a top fueler, yes?

But.. the one left? If you've been around it at all, the Harleys sound a lot like this... lower throat at the end, ****.......

No pun intended, but I'll take it.

Any takers? Dispute it, and tell me what I'm lookin at!!

This is not OUR mustang, and it is a bit slower to 60 than ours, but it gives you an idea of the engine sound and speed.

And trews, Harleys sound like that because both pistons on the V-twin engine are run off a single crankshaft throw, which give them their classic boom..boom...........boom..boom..........boom..boo m sound. (sorry couldnt think of a better adjective.
