Given all your threads I was hoping you could list exactly your present configuration, dual screens etc etc.

Then describe what you wish to achieve and most importantly the budget with which you have to work .

Also from the advice you've had so far have you made any firm decisions?

I think OCFL is asking questions about hardware and software as he wishes to learn about this type of thing.

Example:
He plans to buy a LG 22 inch flat screen monitor and asked if it would be ok to use diffrent sized screens.

He is asking questions that are of intrest to him who wishes to learn about computers.

He is using the forum to learn.

JB - I most certainly agree - I 'm just trying to focus the energy and enthusiasm into a more structured way of resolving issues and queries.

Do you know any AGP X8 cards as in make and models for his other thread?

I am not good on older cards.

I have found this Wikibook link to be very informative when it comes to computer parts, and how to arrange them into a box, and voila you have built a computer.

Searching deeper into Wikipedia, it will bring up further details of individual parts such as a video card for instance.

I know OCFL is looking for recommendations to make it easier for himself, but it will help to make a personal decision himself.

Don't buy Inno or Pinnacle video / tv tuner cards tho'...
