Hello everyone,

I need some advice.

I accidenty ran pc recovery on my computer and now my profile, which included my files, my documents, my music and everything else is gone. But they are not deleted. They are, apparently, in a partition drive (?)

I downloaded a file recovery application thinking it was free. It found all my lost files, music, etc, but the application prompted me to pay up $30 (I don't know what that is in UK currency) or else it won't restore these files.

Is there free software that you know of that will recover these files?

You're in a bit of a pickle there huh? This program seems to be free right now: Undelete Plus - Free file recovery software. Retrieve accidentally deleted files. - try it and let us know how it goes...

I don't think that is what I wanted. These files are on a partition disk.

What was the other app you used?

I downloaded PC Inspector recovery and another one called ParetoLogic. Neither were free. I thought they were.
