Default Help choose new laptop??
Hello,

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me, I want to get my daughter a laptop for christmas, the thing is I need to buy from my catalogue because that's the only way I can afford it at the moment so choice is limited!!

Here is a link to the laptops, I can spend up to £500 but any less would be good!

Littlewoods Direct- Electricals- computers- laptops- £250 to £500

She will mainly use it for internet and music........Thanks so much if you can help!!

Hello cazz and welcome to PCHelpForum.

I like these:

Littlewoods Direct- Electricals- computers- laptops- £250 to £500- Samsung

Asus 15.4in dual core laptop - Littlewoods Direct

Toshiba "L300" 15.4ins core 2 duo laptop with memory upgrade with Vista software - Littlewoods Direct

I think these brands are good.

When choosing a laptop look for a larger screen 17 in is pritty good,at least 2 gig RAM/Memory.It appears most modern laptops/computers have Vista installed on them now.You can also see they have dual core processors fitted much better and faster than a single core.

If she dont download a lot you could possibly stay with a 100 gig hard drive but hey a larger one is better.

I most deffinently have insurance put on the laptop if you can afford it.

I would buy the Hewlett Packard 530 Celeron 15.4in Laptop, mainly because its from HP, Which has a VERY GOOD Rep. in my Book, Price, HDD Space, and Wifi
