Wow... you know the guy? Obviously a very intelligent man. I could never do the "math thing" very well.

I have several of his pics I use for my Desktop background(s) totally stumbled upon the site.
I live approx 25 miles from that bridge-- above post-- I went to high school nearby.
an amazing collection of great photos.
I particularly enjoy his Russian photos.
Places I may never see--otherwise.
I emailed him a couple of years back... when he was at Tulane (post-Katrina). He answered me a month or so later.
He keeps adding to this collection

Nothing to be impressed with friend Ih8bills. I was dating the daughter of a tenured Professor in the late 70's. That got me special perks at most affiliated colleges. Lets just say I enjoyed some very profound lectures without having to pay tuition or earning credits either...lol

Anyway Alexey found out I had a zoom lens for his Pentax. We met, he bought and that was that. I was impressed with his pictures. Though his scenic photos were kind of generic he did know how to capture the shot. He seemed a nice fellow.
