Most poems have layers. Most poems use intricate poetic devices. Most poems have a meaning. Most poems are elegant. When I read this poem there was none of that. It was refreshing in a way. Maybe that is why it won a $10000 prize in the golden blog contest, a competition run by MS Office / Visa / Contiki. Maybe.
