From what I can See, WCG only supports CPU based clients. If Im wrong, please let me know Because, my 2600XT can put out a hundred times more WUs per day than My P4 can.
I'm letting you know.

I believe this is what you are after.

This is a BOINC offering and that is the client used to work at World Community Grid.

I see. Unfortunately, that is for NVidia cards ONLY. What about the rest of us that have ATi cards? I will attempt to create a team for them, but for now, I appreciate any help you could give us with F@H I have to talk to a few people about this, to work something out.

Until you brought up the GPU crunching thing I hadn't even given it a second thought however now that I've done a bit of reading and given that I happen to be about to purchase a new video card for the box I'm building I will read up on it a bit further.

I've already read enough to know that it's new and still in its infancy stages.

Some simply want to ensure that there aren't issues as they love the whole concept of "set it and forget it" when it comes to these projects since problems tend to drive potential recruits away.

I'm sure that this concept will take off though given the incredible amount of processing power these modern cards have.

Very intriguing and I have a bad feeling this is going to cost me more than I had planned on spending.

I would love to do that AW_3_3 but anything my machines help with has to be done through WCG as I only have five of my machines at my residence with the rest distributed amongst my offspring and a few friends whom I built them for on the condition that they run my projects.

I can move all my machines to another WCG team with a couple of mouse clicks but to take on a whole different project would require installing new software on all the units and that is simply a larger undertaking than I'm prepared to engage in.

I gave a lot of consideration to which DC offering was suited to my needs and once I settle in it's very difficult to move and generally results in loss of some equipment.
