Before I do anything, I need to clarify. I wanted to do FaH because it supports mutliple client types, GPU most specifically, for people (like me) that have weak CPUs but powerful graphics cards. From what I can See, WCG only supports CPU based clients. If Im wrong, please let me know Because, my 2600XT can put out a hundred times more WUs per day than My P4 can.

I will look into a WCG one as well.

Here is the list of clients. If you have a Radeon HD 2600, or an Geforce 8600GT or higher, I would use the GPU Client. If you have a Intel C2D E6550 or better, I would use the SMT Client, unless you have a Radeon 3850 or better. (GF 8800GT)

I have a rubbish GPU realy.Low grade.

You do not have to use the Graphics card client though. You can use the standard CPU Based one. I was hoping you guys could spread the word, like a login alert to view it or something

WCG is run through the BOINC client and I believe aimed at spare CPU cycles only but I'll research later tonight to see if there's been any changes I'm not up on yet as I haven't been around there much.

Not being a gamer I'm not that up on GPU related offerings.

I do know the system requirements are not too bad as I have a few older machines like a P4 1.4Ghz 512MB RAM unit that works away no problem though naturally it's not going to keep up with a Quad Core box.

If you get a Team PCHF going for WCG let me know and I'm there.

I've always had a weakness for helping new teams get going.

I think I just joined it. I don't think there is a GPU client for Mac, though I have a GF 8600M GT
