Relic or not, Congress raises the US Debt ceiling to stay ahead of the running total.

I'm a fanatic about watching: Meet the Press, Face the Nation, Hardball (with Chris Mathews), Countdown (with Keith Olberman), Morning Joe (if I don't stay up too late), and occasionally I suffer through C-Span. As a result I consider myself reasonably aware of what the government and news media allow me to know. Key word is: ALLOW
