Nothing can screw things up like some pinheaded pencil-jockey in a cubicle somewhere...I've experienced it over and over in life-- every time somebody has a really good idea-- the greed-monkeys start to yip and yap-- we should make them pay for this. Bastards.

I would just hate to lose my favorite home-spun net-radio stations-- you just can't beat that-- I have not touched a CD -- in ...(a year ??)
They just keep playing great song after great song-- I have rather eclectic tastes.
In fact that's the category I search in Winamp/Shoutcast Radio ---"eclectic"... I just ran across this site yesterday...
ReallyMusicRadio - Music for the Internet Eclectic
I was lost in my headphones for 2 +1/2 hrs. Listening right now...!
Many of them are mom and pop from home-connection-setups

I couldn't have said it better Friend Ih8bills. I've met some great people over the years and for as long as it last I will continue.

Thanks for the site. You'll find my taste in music more on the excentric side...

It appears that two of the of the big players in all of this (Comcast and Time Warner) are up to their eyeballs in trouble. Time Warner is being accused of ripping off it's customers by LA's city attorney and Comcast sued for fruad. What pillars of the community.

Time Warner has already started testing tiered service. It will be interesting to see the effect of this test.

You know... I thought I heard some very distant group screaming in anger today, I wondered what it was... must have been all those Time-Warner customers.

There's nothing like the success of an ongoing enterprise to get Washington involved so they can screw it up. Chip Pickering (mentioned in one of Hengis's postings) is my US House Representative. He's quitting (probably to become a lobbyist) his job soon. That guy could screw-up a free lunch.

It couldn't have been very loud screaming Ih8bills. I haven't heard any widows break in Washington. The FCC allowed the testing and it only involves a few cities and new subscribers. Not really a fair test of the idea wouldn't you say?

We all have our black sheep Cobracon. I'm from Arkansas and look what we exported from here. This Great Country got the Clintons and we tried again with Huckabee. All I can say is we are sorry...
