oh no as soon as i saw the speedtouch i immediately thought orange. I remembered that other isps use the speedtouch for example pipex.

Pipex is the one mate and it's giving me some right problems at the moment at night.

are you on a usage limit because normally at peak times usage is high so more of the connections on your contention (probably 50:1) will be using it and they sometimes lower speed at peak times with some ISP's i believe.

Lets put it this way Chris, during the day it's perfect up till about 4pm then it starts going downhill to the point where I'm getting disconned every 30 minutes on average.
The speed first thing in a morning is 4.7mbps and at the end point can be 3.5.
To me that (the speed) is no big deal but what bugs me is the constant disconns.
Apparently Pipex are in contact with BT over this and if it's not resolved within 4 days from now I'm moving to another ISP.

Sounds annoying wolfey hopefully sorted soon!
