Smile RE:Buying a new monitor.

After Tesco did not have any more instock on the Dell 19 inch flat screen se198WFP I bought a one from Curry,s.Typical Tesco never instock on sale products.

What a mistake.

Curry,s is intergrated with PC World.

So I bought the AOC MW19E.What a mistake? After fiddling around with settings for a little while. Why because there was a yellow/greenish tint to the screen and text was blurred.I tried a diffrent VGA lead a brand new one.I surfed the internet on this problem.

Turns out this line of monitor has a problem with what they call GHOSTING.

Were it appears as if someone has taken a clear tinted plastic sheet and placed it over the monitor creating the blured tinted effect. Now has to spend more money on cash for a taxi to Curry,s.to take monitor back.Explains to girl in store about ghosting and it seemed a fault with this brand she said ooooh I will just go and get you another one?
WHAT!I was like did you not hear what I just said to you?

What do I want another dodgey one for?So I think I gone blind all together?

So got my cash back went to Tesco and hey they had the Dells back in so I bought one.

One happy Jelly Bean.

Avoid AOC monitors and avoid Curry,s and PC World.

Jelly Bean, don't you know that a ghost knows better than to mess with a wizard.
Perhaps you were trying to use rabbit ears on that monitor.
That could explain the ghosting....

Well took ghosts back to Curry,s,they can keep em.

But now has to Dell exact same model and crystal clear display.

It was not a rabbits ear or foot it was me lucky charm of a lepracorn.
