Well I have been working in the computer repair industry and repairing computers for over 15 years for other companies and I have made the desicion to open my own local PC repair business. I plan to open at the end of 08 I have built a website Shepparton PC Repair Onsite & Remote Computer Repairs Or Upgrades which I think should be a great name considering all my repairs will be in Shepparton and I have been repairing PC's in Shepparton and surrounding areas for 10 years. This is the first time I have looked at opening a PC repair business any suggestions or advice would be great!

Make sure to follow-up on your customers after you fix their computers, call them a few days after they get their comp back to see if they find everything OK and stuff.

Dont in a sense "drive" people to buy something if they have what it needs. Dont be afraid to say "I Dont Know Exactly" and look it up to make sure.

Agreed. It ****** me off to no end when I ask about a product, and the rep tries to push me for the super-high-overclocked-uber-expensive edition, even if it's something that doesn't even fit what I'm trying to describe to him.

I guess thats why they invented online shopping. Lol

Well, sometimes I like to not have to wait on shipping, or I'd like to check out the product more closely and stuff
