Default SMART Hard drives

Okay, most (if not all) of us have SMART hard drives, I'm just wondering how much of you regularly check the health of your HDs. I know Speedfan allows you to do this very easily, whenever I have the program open (as opposed to minimized in my system tray) I usually check it out, how 'bout you?

Funnily enough I have been checking on my hard drives with Everest cos I thought one was failing, I was hearing the occasional click.... then i realised it was the thermostat in the wall heater lol

I run a system scan every few weeks.

I would proberly run it more often if I thought my machine had a few problems.

I would check event viewer etc as well.

Default Re: SMART Hard drives

Boot time check, if the HDs don't flag as healthy, my system won't boot

Edit:
Speaking of which.. my main drive just died and SMART didn't even pick up it was failing. Bleh. Yey for laptop.
