Goes to town to buy a DVI-VGA so I can dual monitor.

Bought and internal card read also.

Well this new guy in Mike-O-Soft had not met me before.

So when I asked for the DVI-VGA he gave me such a lecture on this item.I tried to explain what I was going to do.Simple terms dual monitors.
Omg he gave me a headache.He talked very loudly and treated me like some ginger no nothing about computers.In my face talked to me like I was either deaf or dumb or both.
What is it with some men?See a woman and think they know nothing?

Thank god for the young guy on the till,he knew me a little and said do not worry he gives me a headache some times to.

Well he needs a wig as he is balding (you know the type?Comb over job lol) and hey them jam jar bottom glasses made him look the idiot he made me feel.

Sorry just needed a rant.

How often do we feel belittled or put out when we go shopping?Is there no politness or customer care any more?

Weirdo even brought over a mini black tower and asked me to point out DVI and VGA ports.I said em its that card on your shelf right infront of you.The GS.He ignored me.He is but a blip on my mind now.

Thing is though you have to treat everyone as a noob unless they proove otherwise .If you do not and they do not really know then they could be buying the wrong thing. However someone who knows his stuff will know pretty quick that the client is clued up and should so respect.This has not happened on this occassion

lol At least you weren't told the wrong stuff by a PC World Employee (Generally most don't know much about the stuff they sell).

One of my friends once went into PC World and wanted to test their knowledge, he asked a guy (standing in front of ethernet cables) where he would find the ethernet cables, the guy walked around the whole shop and eventually found them back where he was standing lol.
