512 RAM? You know you'll have to replace that with 2 gig (at least).
512 meg is like dragging an anchor.
Add the cost of that to your 100 pounds.

To the cost of that buy online its cheaper.

I have have spare RAM at home already to fit so no extra cost.

Question what does a 6 yearold want with 2 gig RAM?

EDIT:Will build a good computer for small child once she has grasped how to look after a PC better and not accidently delete any programms.

1. Some software work better with more than 512.
2. Even surfing the internet is better with more RAM.
3. Unless you plan on giving the child a new computer every year, in a couple of years (or less)
the child will be complaining that the computer is to slow because of the 512.
4. If you have the RAM anyway, why not make it 2 gig.
5. With a clock speed of 2.8G, don't handycap it with 512 RAM.

It seems about worth it if in good condition. Is OS pre-installed or do you have to buy it ?

Sounds a good price then considering a TFT monitor brand new of 15" or 17" is probably about £50 nowadays.
