Last month for me.

Ever since Microsoft closed there chatroom due to potty mouth children invading the room.They were british children.As there schools banned all forms of chat as in MSN/Yahoo etc.They invaded the Microsoft chat.

I looked around many computer rooms/chatrooms/forums.
However I found those that run there chats etc were not of good help to others,they would swear at people in there chat or forum.They gave no help and booted people who did not undestand what was being asked of them.They were sarcastic etc.

Then I found PC Help Forum after many months of searching.

What a diffrence in the teams attitudes,WOW.Everyone chipping in to help/no bad language.
Had a read of threads and thought mmm I may stick around here?

So here I am,another day signed in.

Friendly,good team,usaly easy to follow instructions.Most helpfull chat/forum I have visisted.

I believe i came here cuz my motherboard broke and i needed help. then i asked for a job so i could help people. now i help people.

It was because I left another media help forum of which I had been a member for years, since it's rising in 2001. The site had tough rules like this one, but they were somewhat lax on some rules, but tough on others. The board of directors (mods) banned some of my good friends (as in, people I have personally met, not just internet friends) for reasons of which I don't want to go into detail. They were not disobeying rules, it had more to do with the site owner getting jealous over some other people who had some abilities that he could only dream of having. At the same time, the site Admin was going through some mental breakdowns. Not wanting to participate in that anymore, I left. I quicky missed being able to help the occasional person out on my own time.

One day, I had an issue with my DVD burner and came across this site. And I've just been here ever since because you guys are all awesome!

I cannot remember why I came here honestly

Might have been because someone told me I could get trained as security analyst or something..hmm.. Either way, been refused everytime I've applied for staff

I generally come and go nowadays

i wish i had found this site 5 years ago so i might still have some hair
