ok after browsing the net for cool google earth images, I decided to download it and use it.

now when i installed it and started using it, i noticed that the quality sucked, when i zoomed in on something it got all blurry and the images were 2 years old.


while the screen shots on the internet are so clear even at street level, and people are taking live pictures.



is there some setting I have to do??

Google shows you screen shots from the premium versions of Google Earth when they are persuading you to download it. In reality, if you aren't looking up a major city you aren't gonna get decent photos.
