Default No Gold Medal For Vista!

Hey Everyone! Well it seems that in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, Windows XP will be preferred to Vista for keeping tabs on all the scores. Lenovo(the official sponsor) claims that "they need a Mature and Stable OS" to run the games. On the other hand Vista will be on all computers in the athletes' lounge. You still want to wait for sp1 in Vista?

I like Vista..or at least what MS have tried to achieve in parts...but I can certainly understand that decision.

I would have to agree, XP is more reliable for me than Vista is at this point. Although, you would think they would use Mac or Linux for such things.
Oh well, I guess Bill in Washington is still going to get his share no matter Microsoft product they choose.

Wink Re: No Gold Medal For Vista!

Hey Everyone! Thank You for your insights.I too would like to try out Linux but, I get into enough trouble as it is. Thank God you guys are here. But I think that it would be a logistical mess trying to find hardware and software not to mention enough tech support to have Linux as the OS of choice, at least that how I see it. What do you think?
