Default When will MS make a secure O/S

When do you think MS will make a secure OS. This is just not good enough I know I can get any windows login password from 9X to Vista if I have the PC. I mean the actual password not changing it why is the security so bad?

The security is bad because they have nearly the whole market, and probably 90% to 95% of the computer world has never heard of Mac or Linux. They can afford to just go halfway with everything.

Maybe This?:
How to use the SysKey utility to secure the Windows Security Accounts Manager database

Also, isn't there a built-in Windows tool where you can right-click a file and somehow through properties choose "Encrypt"? I recal doing that with one folder by accident rather than "Compress" and the folder became green.

I agree wtih you there, lets face it, they still hold the monopoly cos the other o/s's just can't compete... (in terms of general users like me)
plus with most education establishments using Microsoft, then the new generations are only getting trained on that O/S.

I hate windows, but I have never used a Mac or linux and I really wouldn't know where to start if I bought it..lol
