I ordered the Radeon X2900 1GB yesterday, i should recieve it today
.i'm just a little excited - ive never owned a high-end GPU before
.It cost me £315 from Overclockers.co.uk, kinda pricey but i'm hoping it'll be worth it - and with any luck it'll solve my crashing issues i have with practically all my games (which i believe is due to VRAM).
I'm selling my current card on ebay, bids starting at 50p, no reserve, if anyone is interested
.I also planned on purchasing Intels newest Kentsfield processor, the QX6850 (which boasts the new FSB 1333MHZ) but i decided not to as i could easily overclock my QX6700 processor to 3GHZ and in doing so up the FSB to around 1222mhz.
Besides, i think i'll wait till intel release the new Yorkfield line of processors (The sucessor to the Kentsfield) due out (according to wikipedia, great site) late 2007/early 2008
