I had two mates who got that problem too. even after change user restart it wouldnt work. Got them to delete clientregistry.blob, steamui.dll and one other file in the steam directory and it worked.

WHAT?!?! oh they give them jobs to battle the viruses, imo it shouldnt be a job if they are responsible, it should be slave labour!!! they made this cr#p, they should sort it for free! and get a jail sentence too, the amount of virus disturbances people get every day is incredible.....

I don't think anti-virus solution companies hire writers who have released malicious code into the wild.

What they are looking for is someone who understands the malware world, someone who knows the mindset of a typical malware writer, but most importantly, someone who has ethics.

Similar to the idea of white hat and black hat hackers...

Yep a relative works for a company and in his IT department is someone who used to write viruses.

Some of them get hired (after getting released) i think because they understand the malware world and are likely to be good candidates as Chiaz said
