I'll be building my first database in 2-3 month and I'm looking for some sources that teach the fundamentals of database design and building of the actual database. I know some of the theory behind databases but nothing of actual design. Anyone here have online sources or suggestions for this kind of stuff?

What kind of database do you mean? Example: MySQL, MSSQL Server, etc.
