This may seem like an odd question for me to ask, and I diddn't know where else to post this. But does anyone know of a good XBox 360 attachment that I can use to plug a PC Mouse and Keyboard into? I have heard of a few such attachments (even though I don't remember their brand names at the moment) for the 360, but people have said that they were garbage. There are a few 360 shooters I'd like to play but I am no good with a control pad.

From what i understand, you can just plug any USB keyboard/ mouse into the console and it should pick them up...however the games and OS are designed for the control pad, so it won't detect the format.

I think your best bet is to learn the control pad...or wait till the games come out for the PC - if ever.

True you can hook up a mouse and keyboard to an XBox 360, provided that they have USB ports to them, but very few 360 games actually support the keyboard and mouse setup. I was actually talking about something like this:

Sorry if I wasn't specific yesterday, feeling ill and all (I'm not completly better today but at least I'm better than yesterday). This special attachment is what they call the 'XCM', a special attachment that not only allows you to hook up the mouse and keyboard keys to the 360 (as well as a few other console controlers), but also recallibrates they 360 buttons and joystick controls for the Keyboard and Mouse. It sounds like a very promising device but I've heard some praises and critisisms on the device, the majority being (unfortunatly) critisisms. I was hoping that maybe someone on these forums would have some experience on such a device (or perhaps even the XCM itself) and give their thoughts. My brother has a 360 sitting in our room and everytime he plays through Gears of War I really want to try it out but I suck too much with the control pad. I'm really tempted to buy the XCM so I can have a go through Gears of War.

I've heard rumours of GoW being released for PC...but i think they may just be that...rumours.

But to be honest...I've never used an Xbox 360, and don't ever intend on owning one...or any console (apart from a Wii - maybe)...

I've spoken to a guy here at work who is heavy into the 360..said those things are ok - but you can't change the keys...they're stuck to what the XCM lets you have.
