Default Music Question

Aye, I know it's a computer forum, but I know all of you listen to music and watch movies too

I'm working on my own little movie, concerning feet, it's not quite finished yet, I still need to do final edits and what-not to make it all pertty, however, I need music in it! And I have no clue about music, I totaly fail in music, I can edit movies, film them, all fine and dandy and do it pretty well, but music... Bleh!

Alright so basic info on my movie, it opens on a death scene, person is on floor dead, got hit by a paint bucket falling from somewhere to be determined still, then goes to a little romance part, then an argument part, angry part, and then a mugging scene, and then loops back. (It's an art film).

If you want I have uploaded my current work also:
http://filexoom.com/files/2007/2/14/...OT%20Movie.mov

(I'd love to get some feedback on it too, constructive criticism and all Though I'd really like some music suggestions)

Thanks

Lord, are you looking at making music yourself?

The two most popular software for making music, and probably the most powerful is Propellerhead Reason and Cakewalk. I use Reason, and it's absolutely fantasic, and you can really make your music sound authentic no matter what type of music you decide to create. It also gives you a look and feel as if you were using the real thing, but it does cost a bit of money. Well worth it though.

I jumped into the deep end and bought myself a midi keyboard with Reason and just started playing with no experience at all. But, if you ask anybody else, they will tell you to start small with something like Dance Ejay, which is very easy to use without the use of a midi keyboard. It's very easy to create music with Dance Ejay, because the samples are already premixed, and all you have to do is put them together. For the same reason, I also don't like using this software, because premixed samples doesn't make your music very authentic, and you haven't really created the melody yourself.

Thanks for replying, I'm not looking to make my own music, I just need something to put into the movie to bring the whole thing together.
Though if you want you could compose something

mad, how processor intensive are those apps you mentioned? Sounds sorta fun.....but I don't know if my CFO (read: wife) will let that $$ go.

Don't want to be rude or anything but I'd appreciate it if you could conduct those dealings via PM or on another thread

lol DarkLord, Valis, the Dark Lord has commanded! I don't know what to make of that short film, I think I'm actually.. disturbed? Yes.. that's the word.. distrubed! I think the best music for this would be the Twighlight zone or the theme song from the Adams Family or something like that.
