Hi there folks a complete computer dumba** here

I have been trying to download a version of nero 7 from a site and the site has told me that my browser, firewall or antivirus has blocked referall requests which may slow down my download speed or perhaps stop the download altogether. What the hell does this mean as I can find no information anywhere on referal requests?????

My download speed in Utorrent etc is ok sometimes slow sometimes quick but I can live with that but downloads from site like exe files etc are incredibly slow. I downloaded VLC media player the other day and it took 30mins+
something that never happened before.
I am using Norton AV 2006 Firefox 2.0 and I have broadband.

I wasn't sure where to put this post as I'm not sure where it should be!!!

Any help would be really appreciated.

From what I can google on Utorrent Moe, it appears to be a P2P file sharing program.
Programs such as these are used for downloading illegal software and as such no help will be given with regard to this on this site.
I also advise you read the site rules on this.

Are you saying that you are trying to download nero 7 from a torrent site?

if this is the case you should be made aware that it is illegal, and im sure the staff from this site wont help in any form what so ever, i wouldnt be suprised if this thread is closed
