Personally i wont be taking part because of the low spec pc and prob a low usage limit and the fact im currently in a contract with another isp (staff dont tell anyone! lol).

The PC aint bad for parents who need a a PC for their kids. the broadband and PC option makes sense as many people will only use there PC for word processing etc and internet. The thing i dont like is the fact BT are involved. If BT is involved, redten will use BTs money from the public to pay for the scheme. No wonder the BT service charge is increasing!
But news that the exchanges are being upgraded is gud. maximum is 1mb round where i live due to the poor exchange quality!

yeh thats what i was thinking but no good for enthusiasts and gamers.

I think the maximum where I am is 4.5mbp/s.
